Sapphire Beach?

The beaches of St John have always been my favorite and I always try to get to one of them everytime I take a cruise that docks in St Thomas.

This time I wanted to give Sapphire Beach on St Thomas a try.

I have been to Magen's Bay and was not impressed since the water was not that beautiful clear blue (as in St John) the day I was there.

How does Sapphire Beach compare with the beaches of St John or Magen's bay?

we visited Sapphire Beach 3 weeks ago while stopping in St. Thomas with Sunny Liston Tours. We found it to be every bit as nice as Magen's Bay(overrated) and if you're into snorkeling, it is MUCH better at Sapphire Beach. Snorkeling is basically non-existent at Magen's Bay. There are decent facilities at Sapphire also; can't say the same for Magens's
