Social Wi-Fi Plan offered in 24 hour increments anymore?

Forgive me if this is answered elsewhere, but I couldn't' find it via search.

We cruised two years ago, and based on info we found here on Cruise Critic, we bought the Social Wi-Fi plan in 24 hour increments sporadically throughout our cruise, which worked well for us. We don't need to be connected all the time, but wanted to be able to check in as we have small children at home, so every other day we would buy the $5 plan and use it for 24 hours.

I just checked pricing today and see that the Carnival website states:

Pre-Cruise price: $4.00 USD per day | Onboard price: $5.00 USD per day | Onboard price for 24 hour plan: not applicable.

Sounds like buying in 24 hour increments is not an option anymore? If that's the case, then I'll just pre-purchase the plan and save myself the $7 versus buying on board. If I can get away with the 24 hour deal, then I'd save myself the $13 and buy myself a couple of drinks instead. :D

Can anyone who's been on board recently confirm that buying a day at a time is no longer available?
