elmojessi Posted April 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2018 Forgive me if this is answered elsewhere, but I couldn't' find it via search. We cruised two years ago, and based on info we found here on Cruise Critic, we bought the Social Wi-Fi plan in 24 hour increments sporadically throughout our cruise, which worked well for us. We don't need to be connected all the time, but wanted to be able to check in as we have small children at home, so every other day we would buy the $5 plan and use it for 24 hours. I just checked pricing today and see that the Carnival website states: Pre-Cruise price: $4.00 USD per day | Onboard price: $5.00 USD per day | Onboard price for 24 hour plan: not applicable. Sounds like buying in 24 hour increments is not an option anymore? If that's the case, then I'll just pre-purchase the plan and save myself the $7 versus buying on board. If I can get away with the 24 hour deal, then I'd save myself the $13 and buy myself a couple of drinks instead. :D Can anyone who's been on board recently confirm that buying a day at a time is no longer available? Lem_On_Ade Posted April 12, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2018 That was not an option on the Dream in December. I had actually planned on buying it for a day or two but noticed on the first sea day that it wasn't available so I just purchased it for the rest of the cruise. lcpagejr Posted April 12, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2018 I believe the middle plan is available for 24 hr increments....Either $12 or $16/per 24 hr period. I purchased a 24 hour access when on Vista in November
Bella8286 Posted April 22, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 22, 2018 It was offered on our Ecstasy cruise a few weeks ago. They said we could buy 24 hours and if we wanted to extend, they would apply what we paid to the package rate.
