BigNance Posted May 5, 2018 #77 Share Posted May 5, 2018 Those night shots of Monte Carlo are eye catching! Just beautiful! Your shots of the Church of St Nicholas catch the magnificence. Herculaneum, . I hope to see all of them. Thank you for sharing.
Zandarr Posted May 5, 2018 #78 Share Posted May 5, 2018 We were on this cruise and had a great time in MC. We walked to the Monte Carlo casino from the ship and I (the husband) was fascinated by the city getting ready for the race in May. We went to the Monte Carlo casino but decided not to go in as there was a 17 euro charge per person and we said that we were not going to pay to lose. We did go to another casino however and the missus won 20 euros and I won around 60 euros. We are big gamblers(smiling).
Hawaiidan Posted May 5, 2018 #79 Share Posted May 5, 2018 Further on the subject of cabins we were able to see cabin 7009 and it’s huge deck area. In comparison to our current PH the balcony cabins seem to be a smaller more condensed version which we would definitely consider for future cruises on O. 7009 and 7008 are the best value and most enjoyable on the ship...I spent 34 days in one, and would take it over a PH any day. The view aft is stunning and beats any other cabin, your perched out on the hull line the same as the Bridge, you can easily fit 2 chases and 2 chairs and a table on that monster veranda and YES its much larger than a PH veranda ( which is also set back some 6-8 ft ftom the hull edge/line
