Dominica-whale watching

Has anyone done the Whale watching tour booked off the Sun Princess in Dominica? Did you see any whales and was it worth the price?? Even if you didn't book off the ship if you went whale watching in Dominica, I'ld sure like to here from you!!

There should be a post somewhere on the Dominica forum giving a report on my experience of the Whale Watching tour.

 

In a nutshell we found it impossible to book independently - eventhough we were initially told by a company they'd take us. So we did it through the ship (Not the Sun Princess though).

Yes we saw whales - 5 Sperm Whales. These were smaller than I imagined but it was great seeing them.

Sadly no dolphins.

One thing I didn't care for and that was when we stopped. This is when the rum comes out and the music goes on. We weren't after this sort of trip, but it didn't get racious, as I don't think anyone else was looking for that sort of thing either.
