Excursions and Drinks on Ship

Hi All, My husband and I are traveling on the Norwegian line for the first time. We have cruised on Princess, Carnival, and Celebrity and our first cruise was on a Greek ship which held around 250 people. We were told not to expect the Love Boat, and boy, they were right. But as it was our 1st cruise, we had a ball. Never laughed so hard. We didn't notice our ship was so small until we sailed next to the big ones, in St. Thomas VI. We decided then, only new ships for us. We are in our late 60's and are traveling with 2 other couples. Looking forward to meet some of you. Guess I haven't mentioned the drink pkg. on the Jade. $176.00 US seems too expensive per day. Have not booked any excursions yet, so if anyone has recommendations, we would appreciate your thoughts. We have sailed a lot in the Caribbean, all the way through the Panama Canal, Florida to San Diego, The Mexican Rivera and from Los Angeles to Hawaii and back.:)
