Can anyone advise on the events in Grenada on Independence Day 2/7? Are the events within walking distance from the cruise ships? Will the shops be closed? Much appreciate any insight!:)

Events this year are likely to be low key while the National Stadium is rebuilt. The shops in the tourist area should be open.
