Uniworld cancelling River Heritage 5% discount for previous customers

Looking at a Uniworld cruise for next year and was told by two agents that the 5% credit that past Uniworld customers could receive was being dropped. Now the credit is just $200 pp. Credit is still at 5% for 2018.

 

I sent a note to Customer Service regarding my disappointment but have not received a reply.

The % credit was only put into place 2-3 years ago. Prior to that, it was $150/person. The flat $ amount seems to be more in line with what other lines are offering.

 

They have also added port charges back, after being part of the inclusive price for the past 2 years.

And it drops down to $125 if the cruise is 7 days.

Yes, I posted this some time ago.

We only received $100pp for Castles on the Rhine for 6/19 and a bit more for Nile cruise 2/19.

It was a small percentage for the Rhine cruise and actually a better percentage on the Nile cruise, go figure😳
