ckorni1 Posted July 1, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2018 Don't know about ATVs, we usually rent a car. You will dock in Frederickstad which has a decent frontage but you really need to get to Christianstad to see St Croix so do try to get a way around the island. You might call their visitors bureau. If you dive In2theblue is right there in Frederickstad. A snorkel trip to Buck Island is awesome. We use Capt Heinz when we are there. I think his boat is Toro and Toro II We were there in January and the beautiful rain forest was inaccessible. So I would check on that before trying to ATV there. 2LoveBikes Posted July 2, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 2, 2018 Rental cars would be the more practical. You can also rent a jeep. Many of the roads are flat but there are roads in certain sections of the islands i.e. North shore and East Shore that have steep hills but still can be navigated by car. Now there are some homes along hills that have very steep driveways and the owners have 4WD vehicles.
SeaThruU Posted July 9, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 9, 2018 Curious about how to get around on the island ...can you drive atvs on the roads We rented a car from Budget just outside the exit to the pier in Fredericksted on one of our visits to St. Croix. Just be aware that they do drive on the left in the USVI’s. Sent from my iPad using Forums
