JMCruising Posted May 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2018 We are looking at the Triumph about 2 weeks after the planned dry dock next year. Is this a good thing? Is there anything to be worried about, such as things not being done? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rare shof515 Posted May 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2018 it should be fine. I am booked on the June 10 cruise which is a few weeks after drydock, they should be no issues
LostPuppy Posted May 25, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 25, 2018 We did one cruise immediately after DD and there were maybe a dozen or two workers still aboard finishing up some cabins and a portion of the elevator area on that deck. It was pretty noisy and a minor inconvenience when in the area. We met some people that whose cabin was right next to the area and they were not happy. I think they got 20% off their cruise or something like that. As for us, we got some free drink tickets.....
bobandsherry Posted May 25, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2018 Oh my, cancel your cruise immediately! JK.... Carnival has ships in dry dock all the time. They have perfected the time frame and required work, especially for cruise two weeks after dry dock. Relax, enjoy the cruise.
