How far is it from....

Can anybody tell me how far it is between the Intercontinental and the Howard Johnson? (bothe are on Isla Verde but I cannot tell the distance.) We are staying in the Inter while family are staying at the Hojo. Is there a lot to do in that area or do we have to take a taxi to everything. I would like to visit the senor frogs or Hard Rock so any info on the isla verde/san juan area would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Kim

Both hotels are in Isla Verde and you can walk( 5 to 10min more or less) from the Intercontinental to the Howard Johnson. Isla Verde is a tourist area with many hotels and fast foods.Señor Frogs and Hard Rock are both in the Old San Juan area in front of the piers.For that you have to take a taxi.
