Parking - Galveston

Hello - We will be sailing on Valor July 23rd. We plan to drive into Galveston the day of. What lot do you like to park in? Do any hotels allow long term parking for non guests?

We used Discount Cruise Parking. It was about a 5 minute shuttle ride to and from but very comfortable. Also, the price was unbeatable. We paid $40 for a week long cruise!

I drive in the morning of the cruise and use Galveston Park and Cruise. It is directly across the street from the terminal, so we walk across the street, eliminating the need for a shuttle.

 

The biggest draw for me is that they offer covered parking.

X2 on this! Used to use the shuttle on but this far more convenient. You park at the end of The Strand which is part of the historic district. Visit Kings confectioners if you can, fun store.
