Calling all Cruisers out of Galveston

Has anyone recently stayed at the Harbor House? I will be staying there in March and was wondering how it has been recently. Not necessarily looking for a whole review.. just a.... it was good, it was bad..or boy did it suck...

Is it really like 2 blocks from the cruise terminal? Easy to actually walk there on embarkation day rolling your luggage?

We didn't stay there but it's very very close to the pier and we did see people rolling their luggage from the Harbor House to the pier.
