OT: Miami hotels

Help! I may have to make a flying trip to Miami this weekend and I'm looking for some suggestions from my losin' friends for decent but affordable places to stay. If we go we'll have kids with us and need to stay on the north side. We'll probably need to stay about 3 nights. Any suggestions?
