Is Amtrak from Seattle to Vancouver safe on same day as sailing??

May rains sometimes bring mudslides north of Seattle, which can cancel service. Amtrak brings in buses to get you there, but doesn't guarantee times. There is a great bus called Bolt Bus, from the Amtrak Station to Same in Seattle. Currently $25 one way.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their replies.  We got great airfare to Seattle so we ultimately decided to fly to Seattle the morning of the 11th and spend one night and take the Amtrak train to Vancouver on the morning of the 12th and spend a night there as well and board the ship on the 13th.  I got reasonable rates on hotels with a Hilton family discount so I decided to play it safe and take our time and enjoy ourselves!
