Hmmmm, I know people are obsessing over this Smith thing, and I have actually tried to look at it about 100 different ways, but you are an extraordinarily rude menace.

 

Is there some way to put a stop to the personal insults this person is spewing without getting the whole thread tossed?

I have triangled many times, and most have been removed, but then again, maybe it needs to come from more people, so that he will be removed completely. I just try to ignore it now, as it's such a waste to even bother with him.

 

The thing that gets me, is what's his deal? Why is he so bitter that we are all discussing it? He has posted nothing to contribute, or support his opinion, other than insults towards all of us, but particularly towards me, for some reason.:rolleyes:

as he can see if any indent would happen from a 210# dummy falling off the balcony as if he sat on the railing for a cigarette & was either pushed off or lost his balance & fell. If there was a major indent, then he didn't fall! We know the center is curved so it would definately show.

 

I still vote he dropped down & dove in to swim to the boat picking hhim up.

I really do want him to do it. I think even though he can not reproduce the exact circumstances, it will be worth whatever he can learn from it, such as just the sound it would have made. Even though they are not moving across the water.

Have been trying to keep up with reading all of these posts and watching the news programs.

 

The one question that keeps coming to me is why didn't the cop next door look out from his balcony when he heard the "thud". Seems to me he was disturbed by the noise in the room next door enough to call security. Once it was settled and he heard the thud, wouldn't he have gone out to the balcony thinking that someone might have just passed out on the balcony? If he had, he might have seen GS on the canopy and been able to do something. I don't remember the lighting on the ship.

 

Also, I think that Rusty's lawyer had a point last night about the number of people walking in the hallway. It's not like the hallways are wide enough for three to four people to walk abreast. One could easily have been obscured by a bigger person behind him.

 

Just my two cents on all this.

I was more interested last night in Greta's interview with the forensic specialist--don't remember his name. He said that Jennifer's hair could be tested for drugs, alcohol, etc. in her system last July. Anybody know anything about this and whether anyone else has talked about testing her hair?

who folks remember from OJ & my friend's murder (Ted Binion) in Las Vegas. As he stated Jen's hair is quality for 25 months since it was at least a foot long when she consumed Absinthe, other booze & maybe drugs or illegals. This would give scientists all they know. But then again, I am positive Turks took hair from her for testing.

 

Did you also notice at the beginning of Greta's show she mentions that we will learn who George was kissing & it wasn't his wife before his death. Then we have Rusty's lawyer, without the bow tie, and learned some very interesting tidbits. No liquor was consumed in the stateroom. Ruty who had just met George & Jen in the casino, didn't want totake him to his room but was talked into it by the 2 NYC brothers & their FLA cousin with Josh. SO 5 guys carrying George back to his stateroom. He was so drunk that when he sat down he fell off. That is when the one older brother stated it is time to take him home. When they get there & no Jen, Gerorge changes his shirt & they go looking for her, but they didn't carry him around the ship???? Then they bring him back, he is pissed that she isn't there, but he kisses them telling him tomorrow he will buy rounds for them. They left by 4AM & had room service delivered at 4:20 per the date & time stamp on their receipt. So that checks out. 5 guys who expect George to join them. He mentions about a very drunk Jen & the verbal fight in the lounge & her kick to the groin then walking out with the Casino Manager right after her. Then the attorney is talking about the 2 brothers telling someone that Rusty was seen pushing George off the balcony. So he immediately talked to FBI numerous times without a lawyer since he is innocent of any charges. He had just met him, saw how intoxicated he & his wife were & for honeymooners they seemed not attached at all & wanted no part of what they were going to be doing. He was the one who went to his stateroom to call Room Service to a very large order of food for 5 possibly 6 men.

 

Then Michael Baden comes on about the hair samples that can tell plenty

I just went to Greta's blog & nothing for 1/30 there, just the first 31 minutes of her show. Also about the shower drain after she washed her hair, if she did & what combing or brushing may have offered too. If she had punched George breaking his nose, blood would be in her hair, maybe body chips also. But we will never know.

Last night on Greta his attorney called him Rusty Kofman. Somewhere on the Net is a transcript which bears a Russian name like Rustilav or something like it. So now he has an American name? It talked about him get lawyered up. I have search & can't find it.

 

The underaged cousin was from Florida, I thought, is is this him? 6 months ago he could have been 19. The attorney also talked about the sex video which the gal is having a ball not yelling RAPE! All 4 men were with her but who they were was not stated.

I just watched Greta from last night, at least the Rusty’s lawyer part. Like any good defense attorney, he is very sincere in maintaining his client’s innocence. As MACOP stated, he is saying that Rusty had not formally met the Smiths before and was merely an observer to the happenings up until Josh talked him into helping to carry George back to the room & did so reluctantly. Supposedly, there was a discussion in the room as to whether to help GS go look for DW. Rusty did not want to, but was talked into it. Again, when they brought GS back after looking for JHS, they were all quiet as a lamb. GS was giving out kisses, etc.

 

To me this just does not add up at all.

 

As I have said, timing is everything. The noise complaint was at 4:05 AM. This is according to RCI records and they are NOT going to release any inaccurate information given all of the allegations flying around.

 

According to Rusty’s lawyer:

 

They CARRIED a “bombed” GS to the room, had an argument (discussion) as to whether to help GS search or not. GS changed shirts. They all (4 men + GS) did the search, brought GS back and left.

 

The second visit was before 4:00 AM and they were only in the room for a minute or so. They took off GS shoes.

 

There were no drinking games. No one went on the balcony.

 

The whole group (4) left TOGETHER and was back in their (Rusty’s) cabin by 4:00AM and were ordering room service. They say they can prove that all 4 were in Rusty’s cabin at 4:00AM and have time stamped pictures of the room service food when arrived at Exactly 4:20 AM.

 

There was a fifth person that joined them in Rusty’s cabin later. He was NOT with them either time in the Smith cabin.

 

He then went on to explain that Clete could have only seen 3 people leave, but the fourth may have been in front of them and not be visible because the hallway is narrow.

 

The problem here is that Clete called security at 4:05 and then saw the 3 leave several minutes later. If all of the men were back in Rusty’s cabin at 4:00, who was making noise in the Smith cabin at 4:05? Who were the 3 men seen leaving several minutes later? Where did the noises that the Lawyers (passengers) described as “trashing” the cabin come from? Is there now another group of 3-4 men that entered the cabin after these guys left, or are they lying?

 

All of this (Rusty’s story) seems contrived to me. On the surface, it seems as if he has incorporated parts of Josh’s story, and added a few bits of information of his own to explain some of what Clete may have heard. For example, Rusty says that they argued about whether or not to help GS look for DW. This seems to be intended to explain the argument that Clete heard. The problem is that Rusty’s version would have that discussion happening BEFORE the search for JHS and that would be WELL before 4:00 AM. Clete reports hearing this AFTER his call to security at 4:05AM.

 

This whole story looks like it was conceived after the public statements by Josh, Clete Hyman, etc.

 

My guess is that it does not wash with the evidence that the FBI has either and that id why they are putting so much pressure on Rusty.

I watched this show twice. What the lawyer is saying is that the FBI, when interrogating Rusty, told him that they had witnesses that saw him do it. They do this in an effort to get someone to confess and cop a plea.

 

The FBI saying they have witnesses in this situation could be just a means of exerting pressure on the suspect. Those "witnesses" may or may not exist.

I heard the atty describing the various interrogations of Rusty by the FBI. He stated that they were very harsh interrogations, where the FBI actually used accusations that maybe Rusty or his friends fought with, etc. etc., pushed GS overboard, to try to get him to crack and confess.

 

Maybe I will go back and watch it again, but I didn't hear/see the part about the 2 brothers making these accusations against Rusty. (???)

Ok. So is there any information out there that states all of the men who left GS cabin the second time, stayed together the whole time (until they ate the food from room service)? Were all of the other guys cabins in the same area of the ship. When Clete looked out his door, did he look in both directions? Could he see if someone went in the opposite direction? Maybe some of them stopped by their own cabins or went in different directions and met together to eat. And now, if they weren't all together the entire time, they can't be each others alibis for every second between leaving GS's cabin and arriving at the friend's cabin to eat. Could explain having difficulty putting the timeline together in a way that won't make themselves look suspicious, by depending on each other to state they were together. Maybe none of them had anything to do with GS going over the balcony, but one or more in the group suspect another?
