Formal night on a 3 night cruise

I have a quick question about formal night on a 3 night cruise? First is there one and do people normally dress up as much as they do on a 7night? I have only been on 7 night cruises and I am leaving tomorrow morning for a weekend cruise and not sure what style of dress to through in. THanks for any help.

I will assume they do have formal night on a 3-nighter....because they do on a 2 night CTN.

Formal night is formal if you choose to participate. I'm pretty sure they will have a forma night on a 3 night cruise. They did on RCI last year.

I went on a 3 nighter with some girlfriends and there was a formal night on the 1st night.... the second night we were docked in Nassau. We headed back and was at sea on the 3rd night..

The 3 day cruise we went on had a formal night. It was the night they were docked in Nassau. Some do dress very formal, some (more) dress in cocktail dresses. You would however not be uncomfortable to "do it up"!!

 

We also noticed people dressed up, even when not a formal might to take advantage of the photographers... I guess pretty much anything goes.
