Carnival Triumph-Cat 8 Question

Has anyone ever stayed in rooms 7416 or 7419 on the Empress deck (or the ones right below them on the Upper deck)? Looking at the deck plans, they appear to have larger balconies, but are they good rooms?

Good choice of cabins. These cabins balconies are longer compered to others located on the side. These cabins are also sandwiched between 2 decks of cabins. It is a farther walk to the stairs and elevators. (those steps you see outside those cabins are for crew only) Its less crowded in the hallway back there as people tend NOT to stray where they dont have to so you dont have the hall noise. But depending on your week...you may have rough seas where you will feel a bit more motion then being elsewhere.

(to me--if the ship is rocking you are gonna feel it all over no matter where you are)

Thanks for the reply! How often does the crew use those stairs though? I mean, it still seems like it may be loud since the room is kinda wrapped around the stairs.

You wont be hearing those crew memebers using those steps.

 

You can sneak and use those stairs to get up to the Lido deck for Morning coffee. Thats another thing they are good for too.
