Rcci To Asia?

Is it just me or would anyone else like to see RCCI in Asia?A Radiance class ship sailing to China,Vietnam,Japan,Princess does it why not RCCL?Not once have I seen this discused on this board.

RCI did for a short time visit Asia. They had the Sun Viking over there just before she was sold. I would love to see a Radiance Class out there. One based on the West Coast year round would be a nice start.

My dh and i want to plan a cruise to the far east when we retire

and would love rccl to go there.As it is not for 3 years yet who no,s.:confused:

RCI is planning on sending the Serenade to Asia/South Pacific sometime in 2007 or 2008. The ship will do the itins the Legend did prior to 9/11

Just heard the same thing as the above poster from someone high up while we were on the Serenade for Christmas. The other option discussed was Australia for the Serenade. We were told on our Hawaii cruise in May that the Serenade was possibly going to the Mediterrean, but this was now the newest they had heard. They said as the new Freedoms come out the Serenade, and others, will be repositioned.
