Our family of 5 will be cruising to Hawaii with connecting rooms. Does anyone know if the divider on the balcony can be open in adjoining cabins of mini suites? Thanks!

Probably yes. There should be no problem getting your cabin steward to open it for you.

I said "probably" because I have heard that there are a few instances of cabins where it's not possible. Your being in adjoining cabins should make it more likely that it can be done.
