monikat Posted August 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2018 We booked a cruise on Costa neoRomantica ex Tokyo on Aug, 31st sailing to Korea, Taiwan and Okinawa, a really interesting itenary. The cruise was cancelled by Costa without any reasoning. Does anybody know backgrounds?

greg2014 Posted August 19, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 19, 2018 Monikat - Did Costa offer any recompensation for this cancelled cruise ? I think f.e. about costs of flights, hotels etc you probably paid before news about cancellation?
greg2014 Posted September 3, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 3, 2018 Costa website shows that this cruise is going according to the schedule. At the moment ship is cruising to Fukuoka. I can only suppose that probably travel agency cancelled some bookings, not Costa. But of course I am not sure.

G.M.T. Posted September 5, 2018 #6 Share Posted September 5, 2018 neoRomantica has been chartered as a floating hotel for a conference in Vladivostok 11/13th Spet. Maybe this has something to do with the cruise cancellation: http://www.seatrade-cruise.com/news/news-headlines/costa-neoromantica-chartered-as-a-floating-hotel-for-eastern-economic-forum.html
