JayDeeJay Posted August 19, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 19, 2018 In Nassau, take a taxi to Junkanoo beach, enjoy the fresh off the grill local chicken and rice and plantains. Or any of a dozen other things to eat in the area. Or take a cab to Atlantis and tour the fabulous aquarium and various restaurants. Lots to do in Nassau besides beach stuff. Gypsywych Posted August 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 19, 2018 Sheryl's Bahama Taxi & Tours. They'll pick you up at the port, and take you to lots of different and off the beaten path on the island. Local foods, local artists, very few crowds. You can tell Sheryl if there is anything special you want to see. One of the best excursions we've had in the Caribbean.

scubagirrl Posted August 19, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 19, 2018 Really would like to observe dolphin encounter but from I read observation is no longer provided. Any other suggestions. A beach pass (or any other pass) to Blue Lagoon allows access to both dolphin encounter/swim and sea lion observation decks. www.dolphinencounters.com There are walkways thruout the island making walking a bit easier.
