jackja25 Posted August 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2018 We are taking the Jade on the 29th of September. It leaves Southampton and arrives in Miami 16 days later. Any advise for this transatlantic cruise? We have already setup most of our excursions. But what to do when not in port? What kind of weather to be expected? Is it easy enough to stay warm in the ship? Are the pools warm? This is our second cruise, last time on the Sun, Miami to Valparaiso Chile. ighten Posted August 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2018 there is a roll call set up fort his cruise which will probaly cover most of your questions..https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/showthread.php?p=56872133#post56872133 Weather - roll the dice and be prepared for anything - our last North route TA on Celebs Eclipse was later in October and had us sunbathing in the middle of the North Atlantic - but its basically not very predictable. Sauer-kraut Posted August 25, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 25, 2018 On a transatlantic from Souton to Miami a few years ago on the SUN I was light packing shorts and packed mostly trousers.... it was warm. Southampton was cooler and Lisbon was pleasant and after that we really were quite hot. Bay of Biscayne was choppy and once we were out of the area, it was smoother all the way.
