mountbiker Posted January 8, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2006 We will be driving to Miami for our (First) cruise departing on 2/12. We plan to arrive the morning of the 11th and spend the day sightseeing. How is parking at the port? Or would it be better to leave car at hotel (not yet picked one, any suggestions) and take a cab etc. Thank you 35 days and counting
TrentS Posted January 8, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2006 Parking at the Port of Miami is by far the best/SAFEST place for your car! There are new large parking garages directly across the street from the terminals, it couldn't be easier! The cost is $12 per day, money well spent. There are only a very few hotels that will allow you to leave your car, and they're out by the airport. They're open, UNSECURE parking lots that I would NEVER leave my car in while I was gone. mountbiker Posted January 8, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted January 8, 2006 Thanks, at least thats one thing out of the way. Any suggestions on a place to stay? I guess having my car it doesnt really matter if we are close to the port or not. looks like a lot of places near the airport.
