Snorkeling and Shopping - which do you do first?

[Love to vacation]

We plan on spending time at Chankanaab Park and doing some serious shopping while in Cozumel. I can't decided which to do first. We are in port from 7:30am - 4:30pm. I thought maybe the shops would be more crowded in the afternoon, so thought maybe should do that first, but the park could get crowded in the afternoon heat of the day. Please give me your input!!!

Either way is fine, but I would go shopping first and then cool off in the ocean.
