Can I buy onboard credit?

Yes, you can purchase shipboard credit in advance. Some do this as a gift for another person. It's on the RCCL website or ask your TA. If doing it for yourself, and you are just trying to avoid using a CC, you can always just put funds on your S&S account when you board.

As far as I know you can't order onboard credit online. I tried to do this for a fall cruise my parents took but was instructed to call the Gift and Gear hotline of RCCL at (800) 722-5443.

Can we just do this with cash? This is a good idea. If we give them like $2000 then charge on it??
