airisland Posted September 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2018 We will be in port on Nov 30th - hubby, myself, and my two aunts - 82 and 84 years old. We are looking at the MSC excursion to Arles. It mentions "Moderate Difficulty". I assume that's because of the cobblestone. Has anyone done this excursion and is it constant walking the entire time? Both are pretty mobile but I don't want them to feel overwhelmed. Also, will there be Christmas Markets at that time?
LondonTowner Posted September 9, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2018 I’ve only visited Arles on a land holiday, but like the town. There are a lot of cobblestones and I would imagine the organised tour includes a visit to the Roman amphitheatre, which could be a challenge.
