FLL airport to Bal Harbour Sheraton

Hello,

We'll be staying at the Sheraton Bal Harbour in March for 1 night pre-cruise. Their website states it is 17 miles from the FLL airport...does anyone know approximately how much a cab will run (if it matters, it will be very late at night - 1 am - so probably not so much traffic). I got a quote from Tri-County shuttle, which is $16/pp...very reasonable, so I thought...but just curious on the cab price since it would be more convenient.

Well it's not a straight shot or anything. Bal Harbour is a long way from the freeway and there's a lot of stop and go city traffic to deal with (yes, even at 1am.. I've actually been stuck in traffic at that time before, and on more than one occasion!).

 

With the newly raised cab fares I'm guessing at least $60.

Thanks, Trent...think we'll stick with Tri-County...even with 2 people paying $16/pp each way, seems it will be much cheaper than a cab.

Oh for 2 people I guarantee Tri-County will be cheaper.
