mininutrsp Posted January 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2006 I have a question. A co-worker's daughter and son-in-law just returned from a three night cruise to the Bahamas. I think they were on the Fascination. They told my friend that they couldn't do a lot of activities on board because there were charges for them. They said you had to pay to go to the shows. I always thought (and my experience has been) that the shows were included in the ticket price. I'm figuring that my friend mis-understood what they told her, but maybe things have changed. I haven't read about this on the boards so I figure she got it wrong. She is hoping to cruise to Alaska in a couple years so I want to verify things for her. Your help is appreciated. 2timecruiser28 Posted January 10, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2006 The shows are still part of the ticket price.
gregkn Posted January 10, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 10, 2006 Most activities are free of charge. The only things you might have to pay for are a couple of fitness classes hosted by the Spa team. These are optional classes of course, but the price should be listed alongside the advertized class in the Capers. There is a charge to play bingo, to enter Casino events such as blackjack & poker tournaments and if there is a wine tasting done onboard, that will probably have a small nominal fee as well. All day time shows, main lounge evening shows and midnight shows are free of charge.......enjoy. Greg
