RCI Announces Special Food Requests

Hi, all! Our agency just received the following information:

 

Royal Caribbean International® is proud to offer our guests the ability

to make special meal requests when they sail on any Royal Caribbean ship.

Our culinary staff can now accommodate special dietary needs such as food

allergies, vegetarian, kosher and more! By simply emailing their request

to the appropriate email address before their cruise vacation, guests will

be able to enjoy meals that are flavorful, presented with flair and style

and that are handled in ways that address their very specific dietary

requirements

Don't they do that already? Or was it on the Princess cruise personalizer that you could check off Kosher, vegetarian, diabetic, food allergies, and stuff like that?

 

Gee, I thought all cruise lines did this already!! :)

Princess does this.

 

And I thought Carnival did it too. Whenever I order extra calories and very fattening, they always come thru.

RCI's always allowed you to specify that you need a certain diet. But in the past, this usually has meant a limited selection. This sounds like if you let them know ahead of time, they will make fancy menus based on what you can have, instead of settling for a limited selection.
