having a cabin decorated for a Birthday

Hi! We are Sailing with Friends. My friend is celebrating her birthday the day we get on the Escape. Her husband contacted me asking if I can buy the birthday Package to decorate their Cabin. What the latest I can buy this package? We sail 11/11. I'm worried she will be able to see that the package had been bought for her cabin. Back in March I bought my brother some OBC. I wanted it to be a surprise but my brother was able to see it before he left for his trip.

I did this for my father, but was not cruising with him.  I called NCL a week before departure and gave name, date of sailing, and ship.  Nothing showed up on his itinerary.  They were surprised when they opened the cabin door.
