Honeymoon beach easier to access from Crown Bay?

I just realized that our ship will be docking in Crown Bay next month as opposed to Havensight...kind of a nice perk, as we've never docked there before.  We'd like to take a ride over to St. John and Honeymoon beach since we've not experienced that.  Is it easier access from there than it would be from Havensight?

From either dock you have to take a ferry to the Red Hook dock, but Crown Bay is a little bit further away. Taxi will cost approximately $12 per person each way. It may take approximately 40 minutes to get to the ferry terminal.

Also realize you won't currently be able to taxi to Caneel and Honeymoon Beach.  I've been doing some research as we will dock at St. Thomas and want to spend the day at Honeymoon on St. John in Dec. (it's one of our favorites)  Looks like the two ways to get there are either to hike in, or a dinghy boat shuttle from Cruz Bay.  The shuttle's $10. Here's a link:  https://viecotours.com/trip-details/boat-shuttle-round-trip-to-honeymoon-beach-st-john  Hope you enjoy your day!
