Debarking in Barbados

We sailed in 2016 and yes they do expect you disembark early.  I think that it was by 9:00AM back then. Since our bags had to be packed and outside the cabin the night before, it was enough time to get dressed and have breakfast, even to have coffee on deck and gaze at the other  huge cruise ships that had come in all around us from tiny Windstar.  We took a ship excursion/ island tour that left us at our hotel just in time to check in and we were on the road by 9:30.

We have disembarked in Barbados many times. Generally you have to be off the boat by 9. We always go to a hotel so we can leave anytime after customs has been completed. They do not rush you off. Your non carry on bags have to be out in the  hall  the night befor. Breakfast is served early. Very civilized, no lines, bags waiting on the pier. Happy Sailing
