timandnancy Posted October 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2018 Anybody debark in Barbados in the last few years? We arrive there at 7am, and Windstar has told me we would have to be off the ship by 8. Do they rush you that much? Thanks! Tim
Astalarasta Posted October 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2018 We sailed in 2016 and yes they do expect you disembark early. I think that it was by 9:00AM back then. Since our bags had to be packed and outside the cabin the night before, it was enough time to get dressed and have breakfast, even to have coffee on deck and gaze at the other huge cruise ships that had come in all around us from tiny Windstar. We took a ship excursion/ island tour that left us at our hotel just in time to check in and we were on the road by 9:30.
Strenz Posted October 29, 2018 #3 Share Posted October 29, 2018 We have disembarked in Barbados many times. Generally you have to be off the boat by 9. We always go to a hotel so we can leave anytime after customs has been completed. They do not rush you off. Your non carry on bags have to be out in the hall the night befor. Breakfast is served early. Very civilized, no lines, bags waiting on the pier. Happy Sailing
