Edge-Spa?

Does anyone have any inside info on the Edge Spa? We are sailing in Feb and I always book the weekly pass, but the prices on the Edge for spa are very expensive.  Does anyone know if the  spa area will have anything different then the typical whirlpools and heated seats?  Also,  does anyone know what the Ocean Spa Wave treatment is?  At over 400 CAN dollars it would have to be super awesome for to book it,  I guess.  Also, does anyone know what shops will be onboard?

You may have missed this when perusing X's site about The Edge.

Then there is The Edge Forum, as well... where more light can be found and shed on your questions...

Hi Cleobella - the Spa on Edge offers a lot more venues in the Thermal Suite than other cruiships I’ve been on: you have the heated seats, no whirlpool, typical sauna, steam room, the hot and cold rainforest style showers and a service of the typical teas and fruit infused waters.  The additional areas are: suspending cocoon wicker seats, aromatherapy mist shower (it smelled like eucaliptus to me), Additional steam room with special scent (it cleared my sinuses,  really pleasant!, not sure what it was,) a salt room which it is like a sauna but much less hot, then another warm dry room that smelled divine (like vanilla and lavender,) and  It has access to a very large open deck right in front of the heated seats... I though it could use some lounge chairs, but it was empty at the time we were there.

I’d say if you usually enjoy the Spa suite on other ships, you should definitively check this one out.

Enjoy!

Second part of your question:

Shops aboard:

Tiffany

 Cartier

Bvlgari

Celebrity Edge store

- clothing

- souvenirs

- jewelry

- frangrances

... typical cruiseship style items for sale

all the other shopping venues, but I must say the merchandising was very much in line with the ship: lots of very well designed mementos and beautiful showcasing of them.
