Buellwinkle Posted January 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2006 Looking at the climate in the Bahamas, it looks like June is the rainiest month with about 10" of rain. Word from a friend about Port Canaveral area weather (where the ship leaves from) is that while it rains a lot it all happens in a short time window, like 15 minutes and that's it for the day. Is this true in the Bahamas? I would hate to go to Coco Cay where the only activities are outdoors and it's raining all day long. Also, what's there to do in Coco Cay and Nassau? Last cruise we did on the Mexican Riviera we did jungle tours, horseback riding on the beach and more active activities. Not really into hanging out at the beach for 8 hours. We are doing the 3 day RCCL cruise where it stays in Nassua from early morning until 3AM so it will be a full day or do people go back to the ship for dinner and then out again? scubagirrl Posted January 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2006 Rain comes in quick spurts and is over quickly. Many people don't even leave the beach. Locals call it "Liguid Sunshine".
