FYI: Oasis debark - travel time from port Canaveral to MCO

Just got off Oasis in Port Canaveral this morning. For anyone wondering about travel time to MCO for morning flights here is our experience:

 

We left our room with our bags to do self walk off at 6:45am. We were through customs and outside waiting for our pre arranged car shortly after 7am. We were dropped off at terminal B and checked in, through TSA pre check security, on the shuttle train and at our gate by 8:15am.

 

This was our first time cruising from here so wasn’t sure how fast things would go and not a lot of info was to be found beforehand. I’m sure things could go wrong so you are taking a chance with early morning flights but traffic was light this morning and the airport was not busy. We’ve been here an hour and can already see more passenger volume and line ups for food. Getting off the ship as early as possible and having a pre arranged car is the key I think.

We got a name from a very nice Avis shuttle driver. Call Margarita at M.A. Transport 407-572-4470. Our rate was $70.
