yags Posted November 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2018 We will be going on the Grand Princess to Hawaii. This will be our first time in a mini suite and wondered whether the balcony sizes increase because of the slightly upgraded room from our usual Balcony room? This is certainly not a deal breaker but was just wondering. Thanks
Pam in CA Posted November 4, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2018 Mini-suite balconies are 9’x7’. They are fully covered on Emerald deck, fully uncovered on Dolphin deck. Standard cabin balconies on other decks are 9’x5’ with the exception of Caribe deck which has the largest balcony at 9’x9’, of which 9’x5’ is covered. Caribe deck standard balcony cabins have the largest balconies.

Rare Essiesmom Posted November 4, 2018 #4 Share Posted November 4, 2018 Standard on all Grand class ships, including Emerald, Ruby and Crown ( which some people consider a different class). Or to be more specific, Not on Coral, Island or Pacific, Royal and Regal. (Now, someone will be along to expand on this...).. EM

yags Posted November 4, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted November 4, 2018 Thanks for the info. We just got off the Grand from an Alaskan cruise and had the larger deck on Caribe in a balcony room. We will be on Dolphin deck in a mini suite this time. Glad to see the deck will be slightly larger .

Essentially the same but with slightly different configurations on the bump-out cabins.
