Looking for a place to stay in Tampa, FL

My husband and I are going on the Inspiration on Feb 13, 2006. We are leaving home the day before, and need to know a nice place to stay Feb 12, 2006, that is near the port of Tampa. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Wow, this late booking, and on the weekend before Valentines .. you might be hard pressed to find anything great, or at a great price, but being Sunday you might get lucky. I've always stayed at the Hilton Westshore or Wyndham. Got them through Priceline. They both sold out months in advance, and this wasn't any sort of "special weekend"... At this point I would just start calling around and see what you can get. Try looking on the hotels board... good luck!!
