The4Cruisers Posted January 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2006 We're off to Nassau during Valentine's week. We're trying to figure out excursions and was wondering about the climate. I'm sure the kids would love to play in the water and on the beach on the afternoon we're there. Any comments?
KINGBOBOFTHENORTH Posted January 17, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2006 The water will be cold compared to what you get during spring, summer and fall but your ability to enjoy the beach or pools will be more dependent on air temperature. January is the coldest month and the trend is warmer and warmer as you get later in February. But the weather on any one particular day is a matter of luck. If a cold front pushed through, it can be chilly and you won't want to be at the beach. But more often than not you'll have temps around 80F or more and that feels pretty good, even if the water is cold. BobK/Orlando
The4Cruisers Posted January 18, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted January 18, 2006 Thanks for the reply King Bob. I honestly had no idea what to expect in February. We're debating between the high-speed boat to the beach or taking the glass bottom boat tour.
