Llamabear Posted January 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2019 Any suggestions on good, clean hotels in Port Canaveral area? I'd prefer one with airport shuttle and port shuttle, but I can always Uber if needed. Thanks gang!
JohninDC Posted January 4, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2019 The airport most cruisers use in Orlando (MCO) is about an hour drive away from PC. If a hotel includes an hour shuttle ride they are just building the price for that trip into their room rate. IMHO you are better off arranging for your own transportation (one-way car rental, UberX (for about $60+) or shared shuttles like Cortrans or Cocoa Beach Shuttle) and finding your own hotel. Dates and budget would help the suggestions to be closer to your target. If you want a package deal that includes shuttles and hotel check a site like www.goportcanveral.com
SteerageJoe Posted January 4, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2019 Fortunately you cannot go wrong with any of 20+ hotels - they are mostly clean and good - meaning just fine for a one-night stay before a cruise. Unfortunately, the list is 20+ so you have to narrow things down. The very popular Radisson in Cape Canaveral check most boxes for most people - airport shuttle, cruise ship shuttle, nice pool, near restaurants & bars, affordable and close to the Port. Llamabear Posted January 5, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted January 5, 2019 Great suggestions! Thanks guys. We went with the Radisson, it just seemed super convenient since we're flying in the day before. Plus, the pool looks really cool
iahawkfan21 Posted January 5, 2019 #5 Share Posted January 5, 2019 The Radisson is good for a stay. Close to the port, and either walking distance or a quick Uber/Lyft to numerous good local restaurants.
