snowybirds Posted January 16, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2006 First time on a cruise. We are taking Majesty of the Seas in April. Its in Nassau from 9 - 5. Want to take the Dolphin Encounter. Have 1 adult, 2 children that want to do the Encounter, 1 adult wants to observe. If we book through Royal, how does 4th person get a pass or ticket to observe, and how do we deal with transportation? If we book separately, which saves a lot of money, how can we get from the ship to the encounter? What is a good time to schedule it. What are the associated costs, benefits and recommendations? Thanks.

Thanks. To get all of you on the same boat out to the island, you'll have to book thru the tour company directly. www.dolphinencounters.com You'll find all the prices and information on the website. You'll need to grab a cab to the Paradise island Ferry Terminal from port (about $4 pp), but you may be able to get dropped of downtown when you return (check with the crew). For tours during high season (which includes your travel date) you should contact them asap. THey sometimes book 3 months in advance. Encounters and Observers don't book as quickly as the Swim, but I'd book quickly to get the best time available.
