Chalker Guy Posted January 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2006 Is there a reasonably priced private tour that goes to Goff's Caye? Or, do any of the NCL tours go there? We are looking for a snorkel tour that allows maximum time in the water at a good site, with no follow-the-leader. Party of 4 will be in Belize on 2/1/06. Best alternative so far is the NCL catamaran tour to Turneffe Atoll that leaves direct from ship. Anybody done this?
Cozumel-Ian Posted January 17, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2006 My personal preference would be for Turneffe Atoll, it felt more 'untouched' than Goffs to me, I hade some fantastic snorkeling when I was there. You can fnd more information about the Turneffe Atoll/Bannister Island catamaran tour that NCL use here: http://www.belize-paradise.com/snorkel.htm There's another thread talking about these trips here too: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=269250 Hope that helps Ian
Chalker Guy Posted January 18, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted January 18, 2006 Thanks Ian and Travelworks, I had forgotten about that thread, but still lots of questions. Do you remember how much time you had in the water at Turneffe? How much time at Bannister? Anything at all to see snorkeling at Bannister? What time did you get back? Did they take you back to the ship, or to the tourist village?
