Hotel in Port Canaveral or Cocoa Beach

Pre-cruise hotel, I was looking at either Holiday Inn Club Vacation by the port or Westgate Cocoa Beach Resort. Looking at either one because the have more detailed pool areas for smaller children. I do not care about the distance, that will not change my mind, more concern about past experiences.

Ah I wish someone would respond with experience!  We're looking at them both too!  We're cruising out of Fort Lauderdale, but flying into Orlando early to take the kids to the Kennedy Space Center before we cruise and want a fun place to stay!

Just stayed at Westgate Cocoa Beach with my 2 daughters for the Santa skydive event my brother participated in at the pier. Can’t speak highly enoug. My kids didn’t want to leave- we loved the lazy river,  shuttle to the pier, lots of restaurants within walking distance. So clean, amazing  accommodations.
