Seaview Yacht Club Deck 16 or 18?

Based on our Seaside cruise (I believe Seaside and Seaview have the same deck plans) it just depends on where you want to be. 18 is on the same level as the YC restaurant, and only one deck below the pool area. We stayed in 18025 right next to the stairs to the pool deck and found it really convenient to hop up to the grill for snacks and drinks. Some people have complained about 'deck noise' but we never experienced this.

On Deck 16, you are 2 decks below the pool area, but on the same floor as the Top Sail Lounge. While we were often up at the pool/grill area in the daytime for snacks/drinks, in the evenings we were more often at the Top Sail Lounge. For our next YC cruise, we booked a cabin on Deck 16 right near the stairs up to the pool deck. We are hoping that this will be more of a compromise for 'convenience to Top Sail Lounge' and 'convenience to pool deck'.

But honestly, either one is good.

The only thing I would advise against is being all of the way at the end toward the Top Sail Lounge/YC restaurant, particularly on the port side. There is no door/entrance for passenger use on that side to either facility, so you have to backtrack and cross over to the starboard side of the ship, then go back down the hall to access either the Top Sail Lounge or the YC restaurant. Then again, if you want 'privacy' and less 'traffic' outside of your door, you may still prefer these areas.
