are carnival pools fresh water?

They're salt and emptied and re-filled each night- I assume from the ocean directly!

On the other cruises I have been on, they have all been salt water, filled in the early AM and emptied at night.

Hello! I was on the Triumph in Feb. A few of the girls I was with took the galley tour. They were told the ship uses alot of salt water, but it is treated and they take the salt out. This is for showers, doing dishes AND the pool. I didn't get in the pool or jacuzzi's when I was there so I dont know first hand. BUT that is what they said.
