argos16 Posted January 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2006 Our travel agent booked us into the Wyndham Grand Bay on South Bayshore Dr. in Coconut Grove for our pre-cruise stay on Feb. 10. It's already been paid for as part of our cruise package. In all of the threads on this board about Miami hotels, I have not once seen this hotel mentioned. It wasn't listed on the site indicating Miami hotels close to the airport or pier. I tried to call the hotel directly yesterday and there was no answer!! Can anyone help?? Should I be concerned? If necessary, how can I get my money back, and re-book somewhere else?

While I have not stayed in that particular hotel, it is a short drive to the pier. Five miles or so. Join Wyndham By Request and call the hotel and give them your WBR number and they will automatically upgrade you on a space available basis. VegasGreen Posted January 19, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 19, 2006 Nice, Nice hotel. Stayed there in October. Coconut Grove is a great part of Miami. it's not just IMMEDIATELY next to the heart of the Grove (like Mayfair, my favorite hotel period), but you can walk it. Relax, you'll have a great stay.
