cruisinfromtampa Posted February 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2019 Hello! We will be sailing out of Miami for the first time next month on Navigator. We have booked the BOGO dining. With the sailaway from Miami being "one of the best" according to many people, I have a few questions. 1. How long before we are out to sea? When we make our reservations, I want to be able to enjoy the view before going to dinnner if at all possible. 2. If sailaway takes us to the point that our reservations are before we are at sea, is there a better view from one side of the ship? We will either be in Chops or Jamie's, and I would pick the one that affords us the better view from our table. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. one9marine Posted February 4, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2019 i haven't sailed on Navigator, but on the ships i have sailed on there is no water view from Chops. I've found Port side is best for sailaway view, it is spectacular. The few ships with Jamie's did have a view.
Rare taxatty Posted February 5, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2019 (edited) Port side sailaway view out of Miami is definitely better--Star Island mansions and South Beach. Edited February 5, 2019 by taxatty
