Thank you for such an informative review.  

And, answering all of the questions for us.

 

We are sailing the Rotterdam in a couple of weeks.  I'm happy to see that they have USB plugs.

 

Can anyone tell me IF they have hair dryer's available that can be used in the main room - not in the bathroom? And, if they're decent to use.  Thank you

A hair dryer is in a pouch in a drawer under the mirror in the cabin. It can only be used in the main room (no place to plug in in the bathroom).

 

I have always found HAL hair dryers to be decent.

Update for us we just received a casino offer for the Niew Statendam for a free inside so we will be trying HAL another time it will be interesting to see the difference in class of ships and something that is much more updated and modern.
