Puerto Limon - Oscar Brown tours failed to appear

Try to support local independent tour operators whilst we're cruising unless it's a port with long commute to nearest city in which case we do ship transfer. On Reflection in Puerto Rico today which has experienced torrential rain all day we were left standing in heavy rain at the port gate at 8am as prearranged by Oscar Brown tours for zip lining excursion. We had such a long walk also today from ship to port gate in heavy rain declining other vendors closer to ship as instructed by Oscar Brown in emails. We had even been in touch with Oscar Brown tours last night who failed to appear this morning. Luckily found a lovely taxi driver who had previously worked on Royal Caribbean ships. He not only brought us to the original zip lining venue but also insisted on stopping at supermarket to buy us ponchos and gave us running commentary on the island. Some things work out in the end 😃 Another tour operator told us Oscar Brown tours are known for not turning up.
