We will be in arriving in Havana on the Carnival Sensation at 7:00 a.m. We have a private tour arranged leaving at 10:00 a.m. Does anyone know the order that you leave the ship? Can you just walk off when you want or do the Carnival excursions go first?

I was just on RCL so can't say what carnival does, but the ship often arrives early and they let the private excursions off first since we were ahead of schedule. And as stated, getting off and through the currency exchange really didn't take too long.

Not on Carnival either, but I had the same experience as mac1, we cleared customs early so people who didn't have excursions through the ship were allowed to leave the ship as soon as we cleared. The ship excursions had prearranged meeting times, and those were adhered to, which allowed the rest of us to leave when we were ready.
