Hotel in Vancouver

Has anyone stayed at the Blue Horizon Hotel in Vancouver? Did you like it? Is it in a nice location? Thanks in advance for your help.

We’re planning to stay here in August pre-cruise. Reviews here and on line are positive.

You might get lucky with some past cruisers answering, it's a pretty popular hotel, but honestly there are way more reviews on the likes of TripAdvisor, Expedia etc. Us locals can fill you in on the 'hood if you have specific questions (to cover the basics - yes, you can walk to a ton of restos and shops, and even up to Stanley park if you're in decent shape. It's a solid location for touring, with shuttles right outside to Capilano & Grouse Mountain, though you will probably want a cab on Embarkation day to the pier when you are schlepping luggage).

Thank you, lax19 and martincath. We aren't traveling until September but I wanted to get the hotel part out of the way. We will be in Vancouver three days pre-cruise and will check back later about more stuff to do.
